TINERARY DESCRIPTION

DAY 1: TRANSFER TO SANTA CRUZ – TORTUGA BAY – HIGHLANDS

Your Galapagos adventure begins bright and early! Upon your arrival at Baltra Airport, your dedicated guide will be waiting to welcome you. From there, you'll head straight to the lush Highlands of Santa Cruz Island to begin your exploration.

Here, you'll have the incredible opportunity to observe the iconic Galapagos giant tortoises roaming freely in their natural habitat. Watch these gentle giants as they graze peacefully in the pastures and relax in natural mud pools while learning about their unique ecology and conservation.

After this unforgettable experience, you will be transferred to your hotel in Puerto Ayora, where you can check in and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.

DAY 2: TRANSFER TO ISABELA - TINTORERAS FULL DAY

Breakfast/Departure from Puerto Ayora to Puerto Villamil, with an estimated arrival time of approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. The activities to be carried out are as follows: we disembark at the pier, The short navigation (20 min) starts at the pier aboard a boat. The islet takes its name from the white-finned sharks known as Tintoreras. We will find: sea lions, marine iguanas, blue-footed boobies, Sally Lightfoot crabs, sea turtles, pelicans, and the peculiar Galapagos penguins. This exalted display of wildlife will leave us breathless. Then we will move to a sea inlet on the islet for snorkeling, the site is ideal for this activity because a great variety of fish, starfish, sea urchins, manta rays, and the beautiful sharks and sea lions swim in the site.

Afterward, we will take a transport to the Arnaldo Tupiza breeding center where we can observe giant tortoises native to Isabela Island, we will visit the flamingo pool to observe the majesty of these birds. Transfer to the hotel.

DAY 3: SULFUR MINES ADVENTURE – TRANSFER TO SANTA CRUZ

Today's adventure takes you to the spectacular Sulfur Mines, located on the western slopes of the active Sierra Negra Volcano. Begin with a scenic drive from Puerto Villamil through the island's volcanic landscapes until reaching the edge of the crater, where your guided hike begins.

Walk across fascinating volcanic terrain as your naturalist guide explains the geological history of Isabela Island and the powerful volcanic forces that continue to shape the Galápagos Archipelago. Your reward is a close-up view of the impressive geothermal area, where steaming fumaroles and brilliant yellow sulfur deposits create one of the most extraordinary landscapes in the islands.

Enjoy a well-deserved Snack Box while admiring this unique volcanic scenery and capturing unforgettable photographs of one of the Galápagos' most remarkable natural attractions.

Before returning, visit one of Isabela Island's fascinating lava tunnels, formed by ancient eruptions and offering another glimpse into the island's volcanic origins.

In the afternoon, transfer to the pier to board the scheduled speedboat back to Santa Cruz Island. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure.

DAY: 6 CHARLES DARWIN STATION - TRANSFER OUT

After breakfast and check-out, if flight schedules allow, you will have the opportunity to visit the renowned Charles Darwin Research Station, one of the most important conservation centers in the Galápagos Islands. During the visit, learn about the ongoing efforts to protect the archipelago's unique ecosystems and observe the famous giant tortoises while discovering the breeding and conservation programs that help preserve these iconic species.

Following the visit, you will be transferred to Baltra Airport in time for your flight to Quito or Guayaquil.
